The people you know. The service you love. Plus a few extras.
New Technology Collision has just undergone a change of name and ownership. We are now part of Canada’s largest privately owned and operated auto body repair chain – Craftsman Collision.
Craftsman Collision has deep roots in Western Canada, having started in Vancouver in 1977 and grown to over 40 locations including (now) Craftsman Collision in Quesnel.
Craftsman is a family business, run by CEO and Owner Bill Hatswell along with his two sons and daughter, all of whom share our passion for quality and service.
With no staff changes under the new ownership, you’ll continue to be treated to the same care and attention that have made us one of Quesnel’s leading collision repair shops.
What has changed?
Craftsman is the only BC bodyshop that’s partnered with the AIR MILES® rewards program. So if you collect AIR MILES® reward miles (and why not, they don’t cost you a thing!), you are now immediately eligible to receive them on every job we do for you, and for no extra charge. It’s also free to join the program. To get you started, visit www.airmiles.ca or drop into our shop and one of our team members can help get you started on becoming a Collector.
What also has changed is our level of technical expertise. As one of North America’s leading bodyshop chains, Craftsman has access to the best of everything – the best technology, the best training and the best and most experienced personnel. This acquisition virtually guarantees that, going forward, Quesnel will have as advanced an autobody repair facility as there is anywhere in North America – something that’s crucial in today’s fast-changing world of automotive design and engineering.
Repairs are guaranteed
At Craftsman Collision not only do we guarantee our repairs for a lifetime, but we will repair your vehicle to its pre-accident condition ensuring all quality and safety standards specific to the make and model of your vehicle are met. Our goal is to ensure you are 100% satisfied with your repair and to get you and your family back on the road in a vehicle that not only looks great, but is safe.
ICBC c.a.r. shop VALET
The ICBC approved shop program certifies only those repair facilities that meet or exceed the company’s stringent requirements for equipment, repair processes, facility standards and staff expertise. At Craftsman Collision we have exceeded ICBC requirements and have achieved the top level of recognition. What that means for you the customer, we can perform vehicle damage estimates on eligible claims and most importantly you can be assured that your repairs are completed to the highest safety standards.

From the moment you step into our spotless customer reception to the delivery of your completed vehicle, you’ll be treated with the same level of care and attention that went into its manufacturing. Our streamlined estimate and repair process will keep you informed and confident. There’s a new 2018 replacement vehicle waiting for you if you need it. And before you get your vehicle back, we give it a thorough detailing to make it look as good (or better) than it did before the accident.

In the automotive trade most of his life, Jack Galloway started as a Red Seal-certified autobody technician. Following in the footsteps of his father (also named Jack), he went onto join provincial automotive insurer ICBC, where he spent a total of 15 years, the last seven as Manager of Estimating Services.
Then began a five-year stint at Jack Schultz Autobody (now Schultz/Craftsman Collision) in Prince George – 120 kilometres north of Quesnel on BC’s Highway 97, necessitating a mind-numbing daily commute of 240 km.
“Three hours per day,” he laments. “I am super-excited to finally be back in my home town.”
Jack is originally from BC’s Lower Mainland, but has been a Quesnel resident for 11 years. He has three daughters and loves hunting, fishing, camping and the outdoors. And he has another reason to be excited: his recent engagement to his fiancée, Lorna.
He is thrilled to be the new Manager of Craftsman Collision Quesnel, and looks forward to showing you why Craftsman is BC’s favourite bodyshop chain.
