North Vancouver Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards

On November 7, 2013, the North Vancouver Chamber hosted over 330 guests for the 16th Annual Business Excellence Awards. The annual Gala was held at the Pinnacle Hotel at the Pier and was hosted by Master of Ceremonies Chris Gailus of Global BC TV.

The awards recognized the exceptional achievements of some of the brightest business entrepreneurs, organizations and community contributors. There were awards given in six categories: Best Business, Business Person of the Year, Community Contribution, Innovation, Service Excellence and Young Entrepreneur. Craftsman Collision was very honoured to have been selected as a finalist for Best Business of the year for 2013. We would like to congratulate the winner of our category, BA Blacktop.

“The North Vancouver Business Excellence Nominees continue to exemplify outstanding business and community leadership. The 2013 Finalists made for another very competitive and difficult task for the Judging Committee. We are always impressed by the passion and commitment made by the nominees and in our view, all are deserving of recognition.” said Judging Committee Chair Brian Williams, Vice President of Commercial Markets North Shore, RBC Royal Bank.

The North Vancouver Chamber also recognized the Capilano University Motion Picture Arts film students with three award scholarships for the most outstanding short films featuring each of the Business Excellence Award Finalists. The event provides a further legacy by giving a scholarship to a business student at Capilano University.
