Nanaimo Woman Bags our Jag

Margaret Karr was less than thrilled when someone backed into her parked 1992 Nissan Sentra last April. But she had the good sense to take it to her nearby Craftsman Collision shop in Nanaimo, and while there, entered our Bag a Jag contest. Smart move. As the winner, she received the keys to a gorgeous Midnight Blue X-Type Jaguar from Craftsman President Bill Hatswell (holding her winning ticket, above). The Nissan? “It was repaired in a day,” says Margaret. “Those guys (at Craftsman) were just great!”

Margaret was escorted to the presentation ceremony May 25 by Nanaimo manager Steve Hornick, whom she insisted take the wheel of her shiny new vehicle most of the way back to Nanaimo for fear she might damage it.
