The people you know. The service you love.
Plus now a few extras.
Provincial Auto Body has just undergone a change of name and ownership. We are now part of Canada’s largest privately owned and operated auto body repair chain – Craftsman Collision.
Craftsman Collision has deep roots in Western Canada, having started in Vancouver in 1977 and grown to over 40 locations including (now) the first Craftsman Collision in Saskatchewan. Craftsman is a family business, run by CEO and Owner Bill Hatswell along with his two sons and daughter, all of whom share our passion for quality and service.
With no staff changes under the new ownership, you’ll continue to be treated to the same care and attention that have made us one of Regina’s leading collision repair shops.
What has changed?
Well, for starters we offer all of our customers free rental cars. If you do not have loss of use coverage as part of your insurance policy, we will provide you with one of our new 2018 courtesy cars (when available) at no charge to you.
As well, Craftsman is the only Saskatchewan bodyshop that’s partnered with the Air Miles rewards program. So if you collect Air Miles reward miles (and why not, they don’t cost you a thing!), you are now immediately eligible to receive them on every job we do for you, and for no extra charge. It’s also free to join the program. To get you started, visit www.airmiles.ca or drop into our shop and one of our team members can help get you started on becoming a Collector.
What also has changed is our level of technical expertise. As one of North America’s leading bodyshop chains, Craftsman has access to the best of everything – the best technology, the best training and the best and most experienced personnel. This acquisition virtually guarantees that, going forward, Regina will have as advanced an autobody repair facility as there is anywhere in North America – something that’s crucial in today’s fast-changing world of automotive design and engineering.
Repairs are guaranteed
At Craftsman Collision not only do we guarantee our repairs for a lifetime, but we will repair your vehicle to its pre-accident condition ensuring all quality and safety standards specific to the make and model of your vehicle are met. All repairs to your vehicle will be completed by qualified, experienced auto body and refinish technicians using the latest collision repair technology including; computerized colour matching and nitrogen-driven spray painting system that will provide your vehicle with a superior finish and you with glowing reviews. Our goal is to ensure you are 100% satisfied with your repair and to get you and your family back on the road in a vehicle that not only looks great, but is safe.
SGI ELITE Accredited Collision Centre
The SGI approved shop program certifies only those repair facilities that meet or exceed the company’s stringent requirements for equipment, repair processes, facility standards and staff expertise. At Craftsman Collision we have exceeded SGI requirements and have achieved the top level of recognition – ELITE. What that means for you the customer, we can perform vehicle damage estimates on eligible claims and most importantly you can be assured that your repairs are completed to the highest safety standards.
From the moment you step into our spotless customer reception to the delivery of your completed vehicle, you’ll be treated with the same level of care and attention that went into its manufacturing. Our streamlined estimate and repair process will keep you informed and confident. There’s a new courtesy car waiting for you if you need it. And before you get your vehicle back, we give it a thorough detailing to make it look as good (or better) than it did before the accident.

In the Great Buffet of Life, it is said, there are two kinds of people: those who sample as many different dishes as they can, and those who make a beeline for their favourites. Solidly in this latter category is Chris Santelli, who started working for Craftsman right after graduating from high school in 2009 and hasn’t looked back. Initially a detailer at Craftsman’s busiest Vancouver shop, he was quickly promoted to production, then estimator and finally assistant manager. In April 2018, he moved to Regina to become one of our youngest managers ever in our first Saskatchewan location.
Along with a thorough grounding in all aspects of collision repair and the finely-honed Craftsman customer service approach, Chris brings an all-important knowledge of team building learned during years of organized soccer and baseball. “Treat others as you would like to be treated,” he says, “and listen before you speak. Most important is to lead by example. Everyone needs to feel like a productive and valuable member of the team.”
And speaking of teams, Chris is already attending Roughrider games and becoming a fan. We’re sure that after you meet him and experience our famous service and quality, you’ll be a big fan of Craftsman.
