Nanaimo Auto Body Repairs

In Nanaimo, B.C. residents look to Craftsman Collision for auto body repairs not only because we are the largest family owned and operated auto body repair chain in Canada but we offer award winning customer service and quality craftsmanship. Our loyal customers have made us their number one choice for auto body repairs in BC. We are proud of the many accolades we have received over the years, particularly the Consumer Choice Award the past 16 years running for “Best Auto Body Repair” shop.

Since 1977, that first shop on the corner of 6th and Yukon in Vancouver has expanded to a network of 42 Craftsman Collision locations in BC, Alberta and California – more than any other independently owned Canadian collision repair chain. And our 600-plus employees are as committed as ever to leadership in quality and professionalism.

We’ve learned a lot over 40 years, but the one thing that has always held true is getting you and your family back on the road in a vehicle that not only looks great, but is safe to drive. Each of our locations offers quality collision repair services backed by Craftsman’s Lifetime Guarantee for as long as you own your vehicle. Craftsman’s car repair services include:

-complete body work
-frame straightening
-dent removal
-auto painting
-scratch repair
-hail damage
-bumper and fender repair

Having the the latest technology enables us to specialize in repairing any internal damage to your vehicle – to ensure your car is as good as its pre-accident condition and meets all safety specifications set by the industry for your make and model.

Our caring attitude and excellent customer service extend to the communities in which we do business. For example, the company has donated a quarter of a million dollars to North Vancouver’s Lions Gate Hospital to help upgrade emergency room equipment. Additionally, we offer ongoing support for such other charities as the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Salvation Army, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and BC Institute of Technology (BCIT) Foundation and School of Transportation.

No one wants to think about having an accident. But if misfortune strikes you, we hope you’ll remember where to turn – and why.

You’ll be glad you did.

Shane Brade

Some of our managers come to us from other collision repair shops, some come from other careers. And then there’s home-grown Shane Brade. Our Nanaimo Shop Manager has worked his entire autobody career at this one Craftsman location, starting as a detailer 10 years ago, then moving up to Parts Manager, Assistant Manager and finally to Manager. “I was so into the rumbling engines,” says Shane about growing up as a kid surrounded by hot vehicles of both the two and four-wheeled variety. “You could say I have gasoline in my blood. Now I can satisfy my automotive passions every day.”

Shane takes pride in creating a fun, positive workplace for his employees, and he values his family life. His two kids help him every year with his shop’s participation in Craftsman’s Making a Dent fundraiser for Salvation Army Food Banks.

We’re glad to have him aboard.
