Our caring attitude and excellent customer service extend to the communities in which we do business. For example, the company has donated a quarter of a million dollars to North Vancouver’s Lions Gate Hospital to help upgrade emergency room equipment. Additionally, we offer ongoing support for such other charities as the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Salvation Army, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and BC Institute of Technology (BCIT) Foundation and School of Transportation.
No one wants to think about having an accident. But if misfortune strikes you, we hope you’ll remember where to turn – and why.
You’ll be glad you did.
Some of our best employees are prodigal sons – men (and sometimes women) who head for greener pastures then decide to return to the Craftsman fold. After nine years at Craftsman in the Lower Mainland, Toby Alderson left to pursue other positions in the autobody industry, but came back to us in October 2015 to wear the manager’s hat at our Colwood location in Victoria (which opened in 2009).
Like all our managers, Toby genuinely enjoys overseeing the process of restoring damaged cars to (in many case) near-new condition, especially when it triggers the ear-to-ear smiles on the faces of so many customers.
Also in common with many of our managers is Toby’s spirit of volunteerism. He regularly participates in Craftsman’s frequent charity fundraisers, and coaches hockey off hours when he’s not out motocross riding or camping with his family.
We’re delighted to have him back, and are sure customers at our Colwood shop will be as well.
